When can I register myself?
Individual registrations will open once we have compiled the entire list of hosting Churches and added these options to our registration process. This means that individual registrations won't open until the majority of Churches have registered. We are aiming for the beginning of April, but watch our page to know for sure.

What COVID specific preparations do we need to consider for hosting this event?
You will need to keep up to date with the current restrictions, right up until the day of the event and adapt as necessary. You may need a COVID Safe plan and COVID Marshalls - See links below:

What are do I need to be aware of in regards to liability as a host of this event?
You will be fully responsible as a church to follow your COVID Safety Plan. Your event’s specific running is not the responsibility of Grace Conference and we will not be liable for your preparation and compliance with COVID Safety standards, so please be sure to look into the current restrictions and COVID measures before you register, and throughout your planning process.
Each ‘watch party’ event (‘event’) organiser (‘organiser’), whether church or organisation or group of people or individual holding a Grace Conference watch party is responsible for the running of their own event and any associated costs or liability arising from the event. Grace Conference does not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to property and equipment or personal injury in the running of the ‘event’.

Can we personalise Grace Conference for our Church?
One of the joys of having multiple Grace Conference sites this year, is the freedom of individual churches to tailor the event to their context; we encourage you to consider whether it would be beneficial to add extra elements to the pre-recorded material to make it unique for your gathering on the day - for example, you may like to insert a personal testimony reflecting on God's relentless love in the life of a woman in your church, include 'live' bible readings, or extra songs.

How long does the recorded material go for?
The recorded material is appropriate for a 3-3.5 hour ‘mini’ conference (offline morning tea and discussion time included). If you are hosting an event, you will receive accurate timing summaries closer to the date.

Can I change the time of the conference to suit our Church?
While we ask that you hold the Conference on May 28, you are free to adjust the starting time to best suit your context.

If I am hosting/coordinating, what will I be required to supply?
You will need to supply the venue, whatever COVID measurements need to be in place (ie. COVID marshals - see Question 1 for more details), discussion group leaders (all discussion questions are provided), print outs of the discussion questions (if you choose), and ideally some light refreshments for morning tea (even if it is just tea and coffee) during the allocated break.

What is required of the discussion group leaders?
These leaders will simply need to facilitate group discussion around the questions provided. They will need to make sure each of the ladies have access to the questions (whether printed, on their phones or up on a screen somewhere).

Will we be engaging with the speaker?
We have chosen to pre-record all our material for flexibility in starting time and extra elements added by individual Churches on the day. Every effort has been made to make the talks as ‘interactional’ as possible given that they are not live-stream by providing discussion questions and interactive opportunities with those in your gathering. We encourage you to share pictures and reflections on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/GraceConferenceSA) throughout your day, as an encouragement to all the other mini-events around SA.

Where are the brochures and other printed promotional materials this year?
Due to the fact we have gone online this year in line with COVID hygiene safety advice, we chose to forgo the printed materials. You will find all the information needed on our website. You will also receive all relevant information via our MailChimp correspondence, so please be sure to email us at [email protected] if you would like to be added to our mail out list.
Should you wish to provide printed information for the women in your church, a printable postcard with basic information can be found HERE
